Able to ride my bike to the end of the short block early this am. No traffic thankfully.
Able to vacuum up mud on carpets from power chair.
Able to sweep mud up in kitchen but not able to bend down and sweep it up.
Able to cook bacon and eggs, take meds and supplements.
PIcked up curtains from second hand store yesterday. Not what I had in mind but I think they will do for now.
need to get rods to hang them. Need help with hanging rods.
Feel like I have written this all ready but did not see the blog.
Reception on TV is not good this morning.
Vision is going so need to get off of computer. HOping reception is working now so I can watch a movie.
things I would like to do if able: water potted plants, put away laundry, get groceries, clean up in kitchen, fill out form for DES and get it in the mail...praying they are OK with me being a month or so late with change of address.
Get card in mail for friend and another for relative.
Most likely will not be able to do these things today as I have all ready used up my bucket of water.
focus most likely will be on finding something to eat that I all ready have in the house for lunch and dinner.
Hoping I am able to walk in the forest in the cool of the evening. I was able to walk 5 min, rest and then walk out last night..almost like a normal person.
A lady stopped me to talk and then stood on her phone talking. I walked off because I could not handle listening to her talk and needed to use what I had left for brain power to get back to the car.
Should have walked off as soon as she answered the phone. I felt she was rude. Phone call could have waited...something about putting recycling in her trunk. Sheesh.
9:40 am Rested and then took Rosie out to toilet again. It is a good day when I am able to take her 2 times in the am and 2 times in pm.
Able to water the potted plants. Emptied DW out. Hoping to put dirty dishes in sometime today.
As I was doing these things I reflected back on when the health was really low and so were my spirits or will to continue to fight. It seems when that is happening that it has been that way the whole time. Strange.
But, when I am able to do something I know it is a rare day indeed and my spirits are much better.
